It's time to get loose and just go with the flow.
Here are eight tips to get comfortable
in front of the lens
Vibin’ with the photographer. Trust your photographer that not only captures great photos, but that you also vibe with. we’re here to hype you up, guide you, and make you feel like a rockstar. You don’t need to know how to pose or where to look. That’s our job!
keep moving + motion =
natural, effortless photos
Instead of worrying about where to put your hands or how to smile, try this:
Walk hand-in-hand with your partner, whisper something funny, then look at each other.
Dance, spin, twirl, or even run towards the camera laughing.
Hug, squeeze, snuggle—movement creates authentic, natural photos (and stops you from overthinking!).
2. Relax and pamper. The day of your session. Make it as a chill day. Go have your hair done and makeup. Make it relaxed, stress free day before the session so when you come to the session, you're all relaxed and pampered.
3. Session guide & outfit inspiration. When booking with me, you'll get an e-mail with a session guide and outfit inspiration. Don't worry! I got you :) Not only I'm your photographer, but I'll be your friend too and help you along the way.
4. Focus on your partner, not the camera. Your wedding photos aren’t about looking “perfect”—they’re about capturing the connection between you, your partner and everyone you LOVE. Instead of worrying about the lens, try this:
Focus on each other instead of directly at the camera, as this creates a more authentic and connected feel.
Whisper the funniest thing that’s happened today.
Think about the moment you first met, your first date, or the time you knew they were “the one.” 5. Laugh, Be Silly, and Embrace the Imperfections. Capturing genuine emotions and interactions that often happen naturally in between planned events, rather than forced poses.
6. Breathe & Trust the Process. If you’re feeling self-conscious, just take a deep breath and let go.
Don’t stress about “perfect” poses.
Don’t overthink where to look.
Don’t worry about angles—that’s your photographer’s job!
7. The Best Photos Are the Ones That FEEL Like You. At the end of the day, the best wedding photos aren’t about looking flawless. They’re about real, raw, joyful, messy, magical moments. So forget about posing, let your personality shine, and just have the time of your life.
8. Embrace The Awkwardness. It’s okay if you feel awkward at the start of a photoshoot, it's normal to laugh about it to ease tension, and to focus on your love for each other by making eye contact, feeling each other's heartbeat, and simply enjoying the moment together, while the photographer takes care of the posing and ensuring you look good.
